Evoxia Physio - Effective local physio that makes you feel happy!

Updated: Apr 5

Hi I'm Kirsty, proud Wynnum local.

Two of my sons recently developed sporting injuries and needed to see a physio. After doing a quick search on the local community pages I surmised that Alex Filips from Evoxia Physio was the person to visit.

You may not have heard of Evoxia Physio (yet) because it is reasonably new to our community. It's a bright, modern facility just down from F45 on Edith Street.

From the minute I walked into the waiting room at Evoxia Physio I was welcomed like a valued friend. Alex is the smiliest, happiest, friendliest physio (or any medical professional) that I've ever met.

First Alex treated my 14 year old son who was having back pain. She took the time to develop a rapport with him, talked to him respectfully, empowered him to WANT to do the exercises that she assigned him. She set him up with a clever app that he downloaded onto his phone and reminded him to do his exercises - it even had little videos explaining how to do each exercise in case he forgot. Perfect for a teenage boy who loves his tech.

Next Alex treated my 11 year old son who had been suffering from a hamstring injury for multiple years. Within 4 sessions Alex had determined the underlying issue, built up his strength and started transitioning him back to running. My 11 year old thought Alex was kind and funny. He loved his bonus massages and also enjoyed using the app to keep him on track with his physio homework.

Throughout many of these physio sessions I also took along my 5 year old son (AKA hurricane). He doesn't really sit still much and would usually find these sessions enormously boring. Yet somehow Alex managed to develop a cute little rapport with him too and kept him entertained, whilst superbly treating the other boys... what a talent!

On top of all of this, Evoxia Physio is very reasonably priced, centrally located and the private treatment rooms are clean, modern and spacious. It really is a pleasure to visit Evoxia Physio and I would recommend this clinic to Bayside residents of all ages.

You are more than just your injury. At Evoxia Physio we use our physiotherapy services to provide you with a solution to your injury, discomfort or limitation by giving you the tools and knowledge to manage your own health and get back to doing what you love.
