I’m Debbie, a proud mum of 3 amazing kids. I have two beautiful girls, aged 8 and 12, who are definitely my mini-me’s and my little besties. I also have a 15-year-old son who may not be my mini-me, but I love him just as much. He’s extremely talented and always makes me proud with what he can achieve when he puts his mind to something. My biggest accomplishment as a mum would have to be creating a safe space where my kids feel comfortable coming to me about absolutely anything—whether it’s good, bad or challenging. They know I’ll always be there for them, no matter what. The hardest part of motherhood is not being able to protect them when they’re not with me and constantly hoping and praying they’re okay. When it comes to food, my favourite place to eat is a restaurant called Marinara. Growing up in a European household, though, nothing beats Mum’s home-cooked meals! My go-to drink is a chai latte and one of my favourite things to do is go shopping with my girls—even if it can be a little dangerous for the wallet sometimes! Carol is your Indooroopilly Club host and she loves being part of Social Mums Club!
