OWN A SOCIAL MUMS CLUB

A career that fits around your family.
Not the other way around.

You're great at marketing, design or sales — whether that's been your career or just something you've always had a knack for. And you're a mum. Now you want something flexible enough to be present for your family and still have a career that's successful and genuinely meaningful.

Social Mums Club community leaders

At Social Mums Club, we believe capable women deserve the opportunity to build a flexible career that also reflects their skills, ambition and potential.

Running your own Social Mums Club is a powerful opportunity to build something positive, visible, and commercially strong — entirely your own.

With Social Mums Club, you will:

01

Build & grow a local platform

Connect mums through events, content, and genuine community — in your own backyard.

02

Partner with local businesses

Create meaningful collaborations that drive both impact and revenue for you and for them.

03

Establish yourself as a recognised voice

Become known for bringing people together and creating real opportunities in your community.

04

Run a flexible, local business

One that works around your family — while still using all of your skills.

So what does the work actually look like?

No two weeks are the same — that's rather the point. But here's an example of what a week might look like.

  • Monday

You map out your next round of local events — this is where the creative juices really get going.

  • Tuesday

Coffee with a local business owner who wants to reach mums in your area. You talk through what a partnership could look like for both of you.

  • Wednesday

You edit some reels for your partners, using your creative skills to showcase what makes them special — so mums love them as much as you do.

  • Thursday

You meet up with another Social Mums Club owner and make some fun content together about why mums need to connect.

  • Friday

You run a workshop for local business owners — helping them grow their brand and get the whole community talking about them.

  • Saturday

Dinner with your mums. You watch women who were strangers a year ago swapping numbers and making genuine friendships — and somewhere along the way, they've become your friends too.

Around 20 to 25 hours a week — and you choose when you work them, with meetings, events and commitments planned around your life so family comes first. Evenings and weekends can pick up the slack in a busy week. And every week makes you a more important part of your community: the person growing real belonging between mums, families and the local businesses around them.

You're not starting from scratch.

We've built a proven model — supported by a structured, high-touch training and mentoring programme to guide your launch and early growth.

You'll keep growing, too — across marketing, partnerships, content creation and running a business of your own.

This is your opportunity to step into ownership and build a Social Mums Club that reflects your ambition, your capability, and your community.

25 women are already building successful, profitable Social Mums Clubs in their local communities.

We're opening four new territories in 2026 — and we're looking for the right women to take ownership of them.

Territories go to one person. If someone takes yours, it's gone — and you'll watch someone else build the thing you were thinking about.

Is this the right opportunity for you?

After having my twins and becoming a mum of 3, the thought of returning to full-time work felt overwhelming. Social Mums Club gave me the flexibility to set my own hours while still doing meaningful, professional work. I've already set new goals as this journey gives me continued passion & purpose.

I went from being made redundant on maternity leave to owning my own business — something I had always dreamt of but never thought possible. The autonomy, the professional fulfilment, the flexibility, the connections with other mums — it's the greatest gift I've ever given myself. Kirsty and Andy have been honest and supportive at every stage, providing fantastic training and mentorship throughout. I genuinely love my life. If money were no issue, I'd do it for free. I am so grateful.

What makes this feel exciting rather than overwhelming.

Owning a Social Mums Club works best for women who bring skills and experience that allow them to hit the ground running. You can build them on the job, but activation of your Social Mums Club business may take longer.

Social Mums Club might not be for you if:

  • you want a side hustle you can run quietly alongside a full-time job

  • you're not comfortable being in photos and being the face of a brand
  • you're looking for passive income

We're upfront about that so you can make an informed decision.

We've built a proven business model — designed to help you build, grow, and scale a Social Mums Club in your local area.

The questions everyone asks.

Is my area still available?
We're opening four new territories in 2026, and we're actively growing across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, New South Wales and Victoria. Have a look at our Join a Club page to see which territories are already taken — then tell us your suburb and we'll let you know exactly where it sits.
What actually counts as a territory?
One geographic region of 30,000+ people — around 8,000 families and more than 3,000 local businesses. It's exclusively yours, and no other Social Mums Club operates in it.
What does it cost beyond the franchise fee?
Very little, and nothing hidden. A one-off $2,000 + GST legal documentation fee paid directly to the solicitor — standard across every franchise, and not a fee to us. Then $399 + GST a month from month eight onwards, for the rest of your four-year term. There's also a marketing levy of $299 + GST a year, but it's only charged where it's actually required, not as a matter of course. Nothing at all is due until month eight, so you have time to build first.
Do you take a percentage of what I earn?
No — never. Our ongoing fee is flat, unlike most franchise systems. Every dollar you earn above your fixed fees stays with you, so the harder you work, the more you keep.
How many hours a week does it really take?
Around 20 to 25 hours a week for one club — but when you work them is up to you. Most of it is planning, content and outreach you can do from home, and evenings or weekends can pick up the slack in a busy week. Your events, partner meetings and workshops are the fixed points, and you choose when those run too. It does need to be your main focus, though — this isn't a business that works alongside a full-time job. If you later take on a second territory, that's roughly 35 to 40 hours.
Can I do this with a baby, toddler, or around school/daycare pick ups?
Yes, absolutely — and many of our existing franchise owners do just that. Whether your children are at home with you, in daycare, or at school, planning, content and outreach are yours to schedule from home, whenever suits you. You choose when your events run too, though we do like a spread of days and times so they work for as many mums as possible. One thing worth knowing upfront: meeting partners in person and running workshops for business owners happen during working hours, so you'll need some daytime availability — but you still choose when.
How do I actually make money?
You sell four proven products: two tiers of sponsorship for local businesses, listings in The Little Pink Book directory, and memberships of the Local Brand Network. All three are already priced at a point local business owners say yes to, so your revenue never rests on a single source. Building those first partnerships is the focus of your first six months, with your mentor alongside you.
I've only ever been employed — is that a problem?
Not at all! Some of our most successful franchise owners have never owned their own business before this one. You get the brand, the tools, the training, the Canva templates, the tech and a full operations manual — all built and ready. Then up to six months of one-to-one mentoring until you're confident and already earning, plus ongoing coaching for the rest of your four-year term. There are 25 franchise owners across Australia doing this already, and they're a genuine support network.
