Hi, I’m Galina 👋 I’m a mum of three, slightly chaotic, definitely not a morning person, and someone who genuinely loves bringing people together. I wasn’t born in Australia, but Brisbane is home now. Like many mums, I’ve discovered that motherhood can be wonderful, exhausting, hilarious and sometimes incredibly lonely — often all in the same day. I’m naturally a people person. I love a good coffee, a laugh, meeting interesting people and coming up with ideas (usually more ideas than I have time to actually do 😂). Life hasn’t always gone according to plan, and that’s probably made genuine connection even more important to me. I don’t believe we need to pretend we have everything together. I’d much rather sit down with someone exactly as they are — messy hair, kids misbehaving, life falling apart a little — and have a real conversation. That’s what I want Social Mums Club Mansfield, Mt Gravatt & Wishart to feel like: a place where you can show up as yourself, meet other women and hopefully find some of that village we’re all missing.
